PUMP! Washed Denim Collection — FAQs
What is the Washed Denim collection?
Washed Denim brings the visual language of denim — acid washes, garment-style stitching, worn-in texture — into your underwear drawer. Every detail references jeanswear: the jacron woven label patch on the waistband, visible contrast stitching on the fabric panels, and a mid-rise fit designed so the waistband naturally sits above your jeans.
What colourways are available?
Three: Black (acid-wash finish with contrast solid panels and visible stitching), Indigo Blue (the deep saturated tone of raw selvedge denim — classic and bold), and Bubble Blue (lighter and faded, evoking bleached summer denim). Each has its own character but all three sit within the same aesthetic.
What styles does Washed Denim come in?
Briefs, boxers, thongs and jockstraps — all four cuts carry the same denim-inspired details throughout: the acid-wash body, contrast stitching, and the signature jacron patch waistband.
Is each pair genuinely unique, or is the print consistent?
No two pairs are exactly alike. The acid-wash effect varies in placement during production, giving each piece its own subtle variation — the same way genuine denim varies from pair to pair. PUMP! treat this as a deliberate part of the collection's character.
How does the waistband work?
It's 45mm wide with a deep textured woven base and a jacron label — the same woven branding patch found on the back of quality jeans. The mid-rise fit means it sits slightly higher than most PUMP! styles, designed to be visible above the waistline of your jeans as a style detail rather than something to hide.
Can I wear Washed Denim for everyday use, or is it more of a fashion piece?
Both. The fabric is comfortable enough for all-day wear and every style includes a fully contoured supportive pouch built for function as well as looks. Bubble Blue in particular has a relaxed, effortless feel that works well as a daily go-to; Black leans more occasion or evening.
How should I care for the Washed Denim collection?
Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle to preserve the acid-wash finish and prevent fading. Avoid tumble drying — air dry flat or hanging. The same care you'd give to denim itself will keep the finish looking its best for longer.
