Most mesh jockstraps look like gym kit. The C-IN2 Rough Knit Jock doesn't. It's made from a cotton mesh with a raw, almost hand-knitted texture, finished in one quiet colour from waistband to trim — the kind of jock that works at the gym, under jeans or on its own.
It's part of C-IN2's Rough Knit collection, one of the three ranges in our opening edit from the New York label.

What Makes the Rough Knit Jock Different
Cotton mesh, not synthetic mesh
Most mesh jocks are made from nylon or polyester. Rough Knit is cotton — an open knit you can see the holes in, with just enough elastane to hold its shape. It breathes like mesh but feels soft and natural against the skin, and it doesn't have the shiny, sporty look of performance fabrics.
Tonal by design
The waistband, leg straps and trim are all matched to the body colour. There's no contrast logo band shouting for attention — just a small woven C-IN2 tag at the side. It's understated, and it makes the texture the focus.
Built like a proper jock
Under the styling it's a classic jockstrap: a sculpted 1-ply contour pouch up front, athletic elastic leg straps that lift and frame, and an open back. Four Colours

The one that goes with everything. Black cotton mesh, black waistband, black trim — the texture does the talking.
A soft off-white that shows the open knit at its best. Cleaner than white, warmer against the skin.
A deep chocolate brown — the most quietly luxurious colour in the range, and the easiest to build a set around.
A warm, sandy tan with a summer-holiday feel. Subtle, but it looks expensive.

Open mesh and an open back keep you cool; the contour pouch and leg straps keep everything in place.
Cotton is the easiest jockstrap fabric to live with, and the low rise disappears under trousers.
Tonal texture looks deliberate — a jock that's as good on its own as it is underneath.
Rough Knit also comes as low-rise and mid-rise briefs, a trunk and a fitted mesh tank in matching colours.
Care is simple: machine wash. To keep the straps and waistband springy for longer, wash cool, skip fabric softener and air dry where you can.
