A brief has a high-cut leg and sits high on the thigh for maximum support and minimal coverage. A trunk (boxer-brief) has short legs that extend onto the thigh for more coverage. Briefs feel lighter and more supportive; trunks cover more.

Which fabric is best for briefs?

It depends on use. Cotton and modal are breathable and soft for everyday wear; microfibre and nylon wick moisture and dry fast for sport; lyocell gives a silky, naturally odour-resisting feel. We stock all of them.

How should men's briefs fit?

Snug but never digging in — the waistband flat against the body and the pouch supporting without squashing. Between sizes? Size up for comfort, down for a closer fit.
